Coffee, Cookies, & Crafts Oh my!

This Saturday, April 24th, go check out Coffee, Cookies & Crafts Indie Craft Fair & Craft Supply Swap Meet (wow that's a mouth full). Some of our members will be there showing their stuff from 12-5pm at Bragg’s Pie Factory (1301 W Grand Avenue in downtown Phoenix).

Is is going to be a wonderful day with local artisans, crafting, a swap meet for craft supplies, tutorials, and free cookies & coffee....sounds like a perfect way to spend your Saturday.

The next event

Some of us will be at the 2nd Annual ASU Art Museum Street Party! Saturday, April 10th from 4-10pm at the Hoskin-Ryan Building and Grounds by Indian School and Central. Come check out the live bands, food, drink, kidzone, indie chic craft fair and art exhibitions!!!

A reminder

Tomorrow (Saturday) is the Melrose on 7th Street Fair. There will be a lot of great things going on including the PHX DIY booths. Food, music, artisans, rides, facepainting, a classic car show and so much more. It is supposed to be great weather so make sure you stop by between 11am and 5pm on 7th Avenue between Indian School and Campbell. Can't wait to see you there!

In the Yard

Our event last Saturday was a hit. The weather was perfect outside, we raised a bit of money for the American Red Cross Relief for Haiti and got to meet all of the new members. To catch a sneak peek of what is was like check out the video.

We have our second In the Yard event with Bunky Boutique and the PHX DIY crew (with lots of new member so come meet them!). Come stop by and get those last minute Valentine's day gifts. It is suppose to be beautiful weather so what better way to spend your Saturday with local artisans, fresh air, sunshine, food, music and your loved one! Hope to see you there from 11am-4pm!

We are happy to welcome a new member to the group...Sea Lemon. By a graphic designer in the Valley who enjoys taking rejected paper (or lemons!) and re-purposing them into beautiful handmade books. Check out her work here and look for her at our next event!

It's here!

Tomorrow is our first In the Yard event with Bunky Boutique and PHX DIY. We are so excited. There will be music, hourly giveaways, local artisans from the PHX DIY group, treats, Roosevelt Tavern will be open for the first time during the day, and Bunky will have 20% the entire store! Make sure you came down and check it out along with the Downtown Phoenix Public Market and the Green Streets Festival. It will be a beautiful day (weather forecaster for 72 and sunny : ). It couldn't be more perfect so come own and get some of your holiday shopping out of the way!

It's almost here....our first event partnering with Bunky Boutique. Come join Bunky Boutique, PHX DIY, and The Roosevelt Tavern on Saturday November 14th for music, refreshments, fresh air, hourly giveaways and talented artisans in the yard! The entire PHX DIY crew plus new members will be there and The Roosevelt Tavern next door is opening during the day this one time only! If you are looking for more to do check out the Green Streets Festival also happening on Roosevelt Row.

First Friday Event

Last Friday was one of our first events as a handmade collective. We had a blast! Our booth was packed to the brim as Space Cadet Jewelry, Spoonful of Chocolate and Perfect Dressipe stocked it with their wonderful creations. The weather was beautiful, the zombies scary, the streets packed, and we even met some Ghostbusters. We appreciate all those who came out to support us. If you missed us our next event is Saturday, October 17 from 12-5pm at Urban Yoga in Downtown Phoenix.

First Friday!

First Friday is today!!!! This is our first big event as PHX DIY. We will be with the crew at a booth on Garfield St. between 5th and 6th St. from 6-11pm in Downtown Phoenix.

First Friday is organized by Roosevelt Row in Downtown Phoenix. The celebration of local businesses and artists happens every month and we are very excited to participate today. It is a great time to check out some of the cities best restaurants, music, and artists.

And this evening will be the event's first Zombie Lurch! I am so excited and cannot wait to see this. It will start on 5th Street and Garfield right next to our booth at 6:30 pm. They are collecting non-perishable food items and cash donation for St. Mary's Food Bank for the holiday season. What a great cause! This evening should be a blast so come and check it out!
